Healthy, tasty and nutritious food is served to students and staff at morning break and at lunchtime in the main dining room, from the canteen between Quantock and Mendip Houses, and in the Sixth Form Common Room. The food meets all the government’s latest nutritional requirements as well as being chosen to appeal to the tastes of young people. There is also a breakfast service from the main dining room between 8.00 and 8.30 a.m.
At lunchtime students choose from a cafeteria menu, which includes a good value two-course cooked meal deal for £2.00. The menu changes daily and there is always a vegetarian option too. Students who take part in activities at lunchtime can buy a meal deal packed lunch bag for £2.00 and if they know they will be short of time they can pay for the bag in advance at morning break.
If parents wish to pay for their son’s or daughter’s lunches in advance, either for a week or a term, they are welcome to phone the catering manager on 01275 463446 to arrange it.
