The Backwell School Association (BSA) is the parent/teacher association for Backwell School, and a registered charity run by a committee of volunteers. 

What do we do?

The primary aim of the BSA is to raise funds which go towards projects which benefit the students of Backwell School. We organise events to raise funds, sell second-hand uniform and also support Backwell School by providing refreshments for school concerts and drama productions.

Shop online using easyfundraising

Please remember to use easyfundraising EVERY time you shop online.

Over 7,000 brands will donate to Backwell School Association (BSA) for FREE when you use easyfundraising to shop with them, so you can support us no matter what you’re buying! If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s easy and completely FREE.

Save and donate secondhand uniform

Good quality second-hand uniform is sold to raise money for the BSA. So whee your child outgrows their items you can donate them to us to give them a new home.

We have very limited space to store second-hand uniform items so please keep a hold of them in your airing cupboards until we ask for them.

The BSA will publish the dates and times of secondhand uniform sales so that parents and carers can purchase these donated items.

Volunteer with us

You don't have to be on the BSA committee to do so; another, very important, way that you can help us is by adding your name to the list of people who can volunteer to help with our various activities. There is no pressure to participate, but if you can find an hour or two occasionally throughout the year to support an event or help with refreshments for a concert, that would be really helpful and very much appreciated. It is a great way to meet people and contribute something special to the school and your community.

We are always happy to hear from anyone who can help or who has a new fund-raising idea they would like to carry out with help from other parents.
