With music by Elton John, Billy Elliot: The Musical is about a boy’s journey from boxing ring to ballet class. Billy begins taking ballet lessons by accident. The backdrop of the story is the 1984/85 miners' strike. Billy’s father and brother struggle to understand Billy’s new-found passion and accept his talent. The story of his personal struggle and fulfilment are balanced against the family and community strife caused by the miner’s strike. 

Performances will take place from Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 February at 7.00 pm in our main theatre.  Tickets cost £10.00 for adults and £7.00 concessions.
